На территории Республики Коми к 2025 году будет возведен дата-центр, который станет самым мощным подобным объектом на севере страны. Об этом официально заявил глава региона Владимир Уйба в ходе работы выставки-форума «Россия».
При этом Уйба отметил, что территория Коми является уникальным уголком России в области строительства дата-центров, которые требуют доступную электроэнергию в немалых объемах и соответствующее охлаждение установленного оборудования.
Для выполнения первого требования существует Печорская ГРЭС, имеющая невостребованную энергию, а вопрос охлаждения вполне может решить местный климат — кондиционировать дата-центр не потребуется, а нужную температуру можно будет поддерживать простым забором холодного воздуха.
На сегодняшний день идут проектные работы по данному дата-центру, в будущем году приступят к его строительству, а запуск объекта запланирован на 2025 год. Первоначально здесь будет трудиться порядка 100 специалистов, но с достижением дата-центром полной нагрузки IT-персонал будет увеличен до 300 человек.
Ранее в российских СМИ уже говорилось о том, что крупный дата-центр будет создан в Печоре, а стоимость его строительства и оснащения необходимым оборудованием составит около 15 млрд рублей.
