Российские специалисты рассказали о создании инновационного морозоустойчивого полимерного биоматериала, который планируется применять для качественного укрепления дорог в северных регионах страны.
Новая разработка представляет собой биополимерную смесь, значительно укрепляющую насыпи и различные откосы вдоль дорожных покрытий, защищающие их от ветра и размывания. Причем перспективный состав планируется использовать при возведении не только автомобильных, но и железных дорог.
Уникальность технологии заключается в том, что укрепленные этим материалом дорожные покрытия способны противостоять постепенному разрушению грунта при резких скачках температуры, часто наблюдающихся в арктических районах — периодически замерзая и затем оттаивая полимер становится все более прочным и еще лучше скрепляет грунт.
На сегодняшний день вопрос укрепления автодорог и ж/д путей в Арктике приобретает все большее значение из-за глобального потепления, которое в северных районах России идет заметно быстрее, чем в других регионов. Опытно-промышленное использование новой биосмеси начнется на Ямале в будущем году.
