В Лондоне (Англия) Тауэрский мост настигла техническая неисправность. Из-за поломки части моста не смогли опустить, что спровоцировало огромные пробки в городе в час пик.
Об этом в понедельник, 9 августа, сообщило издание The Guardian. Последняя подобная поломка произошла в августе прошлого года. Тогда Тауэрский мост оставался открытым более часа, а авто через него стали пропускать только на следующие сутки, после окончания работ инженеров и проверок.
В этот раз конструкции старинного моста через Темзу застряли, когда по реке нужно было пропустить большой деревянный высокий корабль (чтобы посмотреть видео, доскролльте страницу до конца).

Инцидент произошел посреди дня. В результате 127-летний мост, соединяющий центральную и южную части Лондона, остался заблокированным для движения автомобилей и пешеходов.
По обе стороны моста образовались пробки из машин, а также огромные очереди из пешеходов. В этот момент в городе начался сильный ливень, и людям пришлось прятаться в ближайших кафе или под навесами.
Полиция предупреждала жителей и гостей города о проблемах с движением в районе моста. Копы просили путешественников выбирать другие маршруты, чтобы не создавать еще более длинные пробки.
