Тем более, что в его преддверии на авансцену неожиданно вышел МВФ, чьи аналитики настоятельно посоветовали ЦБ снизить ключевую ставку до 4% — нового исторического минимума. Это, по мнению экспертов Фонда, подстегнет экономический рост в России, хотя и в ущерб курсу рубля. Кроме того, в МВФ считают, что переживать из-за повышения цен не стоит: скачок инфляции до 5,2% в январе — временное явление. По расчетам аналитиков, в итоге все вернется к норме в 3,5-4%.

Однако, независимые российские эксперты сомневаются в том, что ЦБ, обычно трепетно относящийся к показателю инфляции, пойдет на поводу у МВФ и махнет рукой на рост цен в стране: это может иметь негативные социальные последствия, а год нынче – выборный. С другой стороны, и повышать ставку регулятор вряд ли решится: это означает отступление от ранее выбранной денежно-кредитной политики, и демонстрация рынку, что состояние экономики ЦБ не волнует.
