Архитектурная компания Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG) воплотила в жизнь уже немало интересных конструкций, но их новый проект станет одним из самых необычных за последнее время. С виду напоминающий огромную сосновую шишку среди деревьев, отель «Биосфера» будет состоять из миниатюрного гостиничного номера в стиле домика на дереве, снаружи которого расположатся 350 скворечников. «Биосфера» создается для проекта Treehotel в шведской Лапландии. План BIG разработан в сотрудничестве с организаторами Treehotel и орнитологом Ульфом Оманом.
Уединенное убежище от суеты построят над землей с опорой на стволы местных сосен в отдаленном от города лесу, подход к домику оборудуют подвесным мостом. У номера будет застекленный фасад, дополненный множеством деревянных скворечников разных форм и размеров, тщательно подобранных для различных птиц. Интерьер на площади 34 кв.м будет выполнен со скандинавским вкусом в спокойных тонах и дополнен продуманной компактной мебелью. На первом этаже разместятся диван и кресло-гамак, ванная и мини-кухня, а в спальню в мезонине будет вести лестница.
В процессе проектирования перед архитекторами возникла потенциальная проблема — не будут ли все эти птицы создавать огромное количество помета вокруг дома. Но после консультаций с Ульфом Оманом из орнитологической ассоциации Норрботтена команда с облегчением узнала, что птицы не испражняются там, где гнездятся, поэтому есть надежда, что стекла домика останутся прозрачными.
«Биосферу» обещают завершить и открыть для гостей уже в конце 2022 года. Сколько будет стоить проживание в ней, пока неизвестно.
